Who are we?

We are eight KITRONS with different backgrounds from the hospitality and tech industry. We are a dynamic team dedicated to disrupting and bringing value to the hospitality industry.

Anastasia Hofmann

Co-founder: Financing, Funding and Talent acquisition 

During her studies at Ecole hôtèliere de Lausanne and through work experiences in the industry, Anastasia became very aware of the negative environmental implications and the extend of food waste. "Through KITRO, I combine my interest and passion for sustainability with the hospitality industry, aiming to create a positive and lasting impact on the environment."
 

Naomi MacKenzie

Co-founder: Sales, Marketing, & Partnerships

Naomi studied at the Ecole hôtèliere de Lausanne where she spent many hours working in kitchens and in service during internships. Seeing first hand the enormous amount of food being thrown away on a daily basis inspired her to co-create a solution to mitigate this growing issue. “I can’t imagine doing anything else - everyday I get to work with an amazing team on something I believe in and that has potential to really make an impact.”

Dominic Mösch

Project engineer

"I'm looking forward to leading KITRO's long-term technology vision to complete unachieved challenges together as a team." Dominic studied electrical engineering and is eager to develop ingenious solutions for any challenge. Combining his skills as an engineer and the passion of an entrepreneur, he found his true destiny working with KITRO.

William Downey

Business development

Throughout his studies in hospitality management, William felt driven by the marketing of products that brought true value to the client. Motivated by the idea of building a concept from the ground up and bringing a new product to market, "I want to see a positive difference in an industry that I love and that affects all of us in our daily lives."

Tarek Jost

Software developer

Tarek is a recent computer science graduate from ETH Zürich. He absorbs all the knowledge around him to apply it effectively and strategically to the KITRO infrastructure. “I can simultaneously apply the most advanced technology with a real-time impactful solution, which never feels like work to me."
