At KITRO, the software development team prides itself to design and implement solutions to process food waste measurements collected by our devices and develop web applications to help customers to take appropriate food waste reduction actions. We are a young, ambitious company with the goal to restore the value of food so that it is appreciated and not wasted. Seeing food go to waste in the food service industry first-hand, inspired us to bring an end to this avoidable waste. Using cutting edge AI technology, we support the industry with an innovative product to measure and analyse food waste empowering customers to optimise their work practises and reduce their food waste by up to 60%.

Your Job & Responsibilities

  • You improve and maintain existing system features
  • You know how full-stack web development works
  • You write reusable, tested and efficient code
  • You monitor and maintain web applications with low latency and high availability
  • You design and reliable architectures
  • You can document codes independently

Skills and Requirements

  • You have good experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, GIT.
  • A big advantage is if you also have experience with ReactJS, VueJS, AWS services and agile methodology.
  • You have the ability and willingness to quickly adapt to and learn new technologies.
  • You can communicate fluently in English and you have a Swiss work permit.
  • Lastly, you appreciate sarcasm, bad jokes and table soccer ;).

If we think it's a fit, we'll be doing a first 15-min screening call to get to know you explain you the recruitment process. Overall, we like to keep this process simple and efficient so the maximum would be 2 interviews (excl. screening call) in some cases less.
