Data Analyst Intern

At KITRO, the Data Analyst Team prides itself to leverage a large amount of food waste related data we have acquired over time from multiple sources. We are a young, ambitious company with the goal to restore the value of food so that it is appreciated and not wasted. Seeing food go to waste in the food service industry first-hand, inspired us to bring an end to this avoidable waste. Using cutting edge AI technology, we support the industry with an innovative product to measure and analyse food waste empowering customers to optimise their work practises and reduce their food waste by up to 60%.

Your Job & Responsibilities

  • You inspect and understand our dataset.
  • You build data pipelines based on multiple external source.
  • You visualise data and find patterns.
  • You identify business needs and compute appropriate reports.
  • You build tools to handle data.

Skills and Requirements

  • You have good experience with SQL, data manipulation and visualisation in Python (R as option).
  • A big advantage is if you also have experience with PostgreSQL, AWS Services, data cleaning and source reconciliation.
  • You have the ability and willingness to quickly adapt to and learn new technologies.
  • You have good communication and reporting skills.
  • You can communicate fluently in English and you have a Swiss work permit.
  • Lastly, you appreciate sarcasm, bad jokes and table soccer ;).
